And The Winner Is: 'Patchfinder'

Name That Patch RV Contest showcases boundless creativity.

Breaking Primary News? Quick, to the Patchfinder!

Judges were up all night weighing the many excellent entries. You made them laugh and you made them ponder. One or two arguments ensued. Feelings were hurt, then mended by semi-sincere heart-felt apology. But in the end, there could be only one winning submission in our Name That Patch RV Contest.

Patchfinder.

That is the new nickname of the bright, green mobile New Hampshire Primary headquarters that's been rolling around the first-in-the-nation state since Friday. Congratulations to Tonya Pellegrini-Lawrence, who submitted the catchy title. She wins a Patch Gift Basket valued at approximately $75.

More than that, of course, she can revel in knowing that her submission floated to the top of an impressive list that included:

  • Local Motion
  • Hatch-Patch, and its cousin, Patch-Hatch
  • Scoop Coupe
  • PUV (as in Patch Utility Vehicle)
  • and Green Machine and Mean Green Story Machine

Thank you for so many creative submissions. Phenomenal stuff, really. As the Patchfinder rolls around, please stop by and say Hello. Suffice to say, no matter which name won, we suspect this little, green beast will go by many an alias, like your buddy Shawn who somehow goes by the nickname, "Chico."

By the powers marginally invested in us, we hereby baptize the Patch RV as Patchfinder.
