UPDATE: Details on Joe Biden's Exeter Visit

Find out what time he's coming to town.

UPDATE, 11 P.M.: Joe Biden's event will be at 12 p.m. at Thursday, according to the Obama campaign.

Doors will open at 10 a.m.

"The Vice President will talk about how President Obama is fighting to level the playing field by making sure the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share," the campaign said in an e-mail to supporters. "That's the opposite of what Mitt Romney would do – he wants to protect millionaires' and billionaires' loopholes and special deductions, and pay for it by gutting Social Security and education, and ending Medicare as we know it.

"The contrast couldn't be clearer, and the Vice President's speech on Thursday is sure to get us fired up for the fight ahead."

In a second tweet, Biden said he will give his take on "why millionaires shouldn't pay a lower tax rate than middle class families do."

The Obama for American campaign also issued a press release including a few more details on Biden's speech on Thursday:

"In his speech, the Vice President will discuss the President's commitment to creating an economy where everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules. The Vice President will draw a contrast with the Republican candidates who believe we should keep giving tax breaks to the wealthiest two percent of Americans instead of taking steps to reduce our deficit and investing in things that will grow our economy and keep us secure: education, research and technology, a strong military and retirement programs like Medicare and Social Security.

The release also confirms that Biden will speak at the old Exeter Town Hall, but does not say what time he will be speaking.

An earlier story follows:

Vice President Joe Biden is coming to New Hampshire this week, but thus far, the Obama campaign has released few details on the visit.

that Biden will speak at the old Exeter Town Hall on Thursday, but the campaign has yet to confirm that report.

It sounds like the vice president may be ready to release some of those details today – along with the reason for his visit to the Granite State. A campaign official said Biden will release news this morning on his new campaign Twitter feed, @JoeBiden, on when New Hampshire residents can hear his take on the "Buffett Rule."

The campaign is expected to make a big push this week in support of the rule – named for billionaire Warren Buffett – which would require millionaires to pay at least 30 percent of their income in taxes.

Taxes have played a key role in the GOP presidential nomination fight, with Mitt Romney's Republican opponents quick to point out that he paid less than 14 percent in taxes in 2010. It looks like Democrats could be poised to continue that line of attack if Romney becomes the Republican nominee.
