Couple Wanted for Child Abuse Caught at Universal Studios

EXETER, NH -- The New Hampshire couple wanted in connection with a horrific child abuse case has been captured, according to Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams.
Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, of Plaistow, were arrested at Universal Studios in Florida Wednesday, according to MyFoxBoston.com.
Reams credited the public for sending in tips and police agencies for working together to capture the couple, who were on the run for nearly two weeks.
"The public was a huge help and the law enforcement community cooperated in a very big way, particularly over the Thanksgiving weekend," he said.
Dow was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly burning and battering Linscott's 3-year-old son earlier this month. Linscott was charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor-level child endangerment.
The pair on Thursday were being held in protective custody, according to Florida officials. The pair will need to decide if they want to come back to New Hampshire voluntarily or go through the extradition process to face their charges. Dow is facing up to 30 years in prison.
Police said they discovered the boy's injuries after he was treated at Exeter Hospital Nov. 14. He is still recovering from his injuries.

You mean to tell me that her child was lying in a hospital from horrific injuries, likely damaged for life, and they were whooping it up at Universal Studios? There's not a legal punishment available good enough for those two. And they ought to both be sterilized.

Wow.....she must be a mother that has no maternal instincts at all. How is it figured that he was the one that hurt the little boy and not her? DSS was involved with her way before he came into the picture and still involved, doesn't say much for her. Ahh, the truth will now finally come out. Hopefully this little boy will find a real home and family that wants him, and grow up normal despite his life of being abused.

There had been mentioned that CPS / DSS had been involve with the mother before.
It better not be true.
If DSS or CPS had known for a long time there were problems, then where is their accountability?
The Social Services, if in fact they had been aware of problems, should also be charged with child endangerment....and FIRED!
It is so disgusting...so horrible...
