Tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. we'll be live-blogging the town's deliberative session at Exeter High School.

A deliberative session is where voters can make changes to spending measures and other initiatives before they are subject to a townwide vote March 13.

The session starts at 9 a.m. It usually lasts for a few hours.

We'll be using the Cover It Live platform, which will let us provide up-to-the-second updates of what's happening. Cover It Live also lets readers join in by letting them enter comments. And when the session ends, you can replay the blog from the beginning. We welcome anyone to join.

The session will be the last official action for Selectman Bobby Aldrich, who's leaving town this month for a new job. Two candidates are currently running to replace him.

Here are some of the spending measures that will be debated at the deliberative session:

  • $6.35 million for a new groundwater treament plant on Larry Lane
  • $2.85 million for water/sewer/drainage improvements to the Jady Hill area
  • $750,000 for replacing water meters in town

Voters will also review the propsoed $20.3 million 2012 town budget, which represents a 0.18 percent increase over the 2011 budget.

Lastly, voters will review several petition initiatives, including one that would require all Exeter elections to be held at Town Hall.
