Giuliani Slams Elizabeth Warren in Local Stop

Earlier in the day, he called Joe Biden "dumb."

Rudy was on a roll on Wednesday.

, Rudy Giuliani ripped U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, during an afternoon visit to Memories Ice Cream in Kingston.

"We're going to have to elect Scott Brown to save us from 'You didn't build it' Warren," Giuliani said, responding to a question about some of the candidates he'll be stumping for this election season.

The Kingston stop was casual, with both Smith and Giuliani sampling some frozen treats. Smith had an ice cream cookie sandwich, and Giuliani had low-fat Moose Tracks ice cream. They also got to go behind the counter, where they scooped ice cream for some of the 40 or so people in attendance.

Marion Hawkes of Raymond was decked out in a Rudy T-shirt, hat and button from his 2008 presidential bid. She said she learned of his visit around noon Wednesday and headed to Kingston "to renew an old acquantance.

"He's the man that should be in the White House," she said.

Hawkes said she's decided to support Smith for governor mostly because of Giuliani's endorsement.

"I decided if he's good enough for Rudy, it's good enough for me," she said.

Others attending the Kingston event included Executive Councilor Chris Sununu, R-Newfields; State Sen. Russell Prescott, R-Kingston; State Sen. Nancy Stiles, R-Hampton; and State Rep. Ken Weyler, R-Kingston.
