Good Karma Cafe held its grand opening on Saturday.

The organic cafe is located at 56 Lincoln St. next to the Downeaster train station. The cafe is in the former home of Renata World Bistro, which moved to Portsmouth over the winter.

More than a dozen people were waiting outside for the doors to open at 10 a.m. The new cafe is run by Brett Aylward and Ed Doris, and the menu includes sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, soup, organic coffee, fresh squeezed juices, and smoothies. The second floor will be a "community wellness room" that educators could possibly use to teach citizens about things like homeopathy.

Here are some images from Saturday's grand opening.
