Several donations in memory of Exeter High School freshman Connor Ball have been made for an effort to turn the Ioka into a community theater.
The death of Ball, 14, hit the community hard last year. In October, more than 1,000 people came out to honor the Brentwood teen at a candlelight vigil.
Ball was an aspiring filmmaker and attended a camp at the Ioka.
Three donations have been made in his name to help turn the Ioka back into a community theater, according to Carol Walker Aten, one of the organizers of the effort.
