Bob Eastman submitted the letter below following his loss to Dan Chartrand for a Selectman seat. Chartrand got 1,400 votes, while Eastman earned 800.

Eastman previously served nine years as a Selectman.

Thank you to all who voted for me. While I did not get enough votes to join the Board of Selectman, I hope to continue to help out our town as it looks forward to the future. Also, a special thanks to those supporters who worked hard on my behalf.

Congratulations to Dan Chartrand who won the vacant seat on our Board of Selectman. Now that election is over, as we move ahead, I look forward to hearing his ideas and concerns.
