After a weekend blizzard dropped more than 2 feet of snow on town, more snow blanketed Exeter Monday.
A light snow fell in the morning before things turned to rain at about noon. Snow accumulation was about a half-inch.
The snow forced some closings in the area, including the cancellation of afternoon classes at the Exeter Day School, according to WMUR-TV.
The rain is expected to last through the afternoon. It could increase the danger of roof collapses across the state by weighing down snow.
The good news? Temperatures will stay above freezing Monday night, and Tuesday will be clear and feature a high temperature of 47 degrees—preventing icing.
