It will feature special motion seats.

A huge movie theater in Epping – featuring several 3D theaters and special motion seats – is currently under construction.

It's being built by O'Neil Cinemas, which currently operates theaters in Londonderry and Lisbon, Conn.

The theater will be located at the Brickyard Square commercial block where routes 101 and 125 meet in Epping. A Marshalls at Brickyard Square, which features a Market Basket grocer and several retailers.

The theater is scheduled to open by the fall. The construction work is being done by Portsmouth-based DeStefano & Associates, among other companies.

It takes about eight miles to drive to the new theater from the center of Exeter. That's about half the distance it takes to drive to the similarly sized Regal Cinemas in Newington.
