Police are hunting for a mother and her boyfriend after her 3-year-old son was treated for horrific injuries at Exeter Hospital.
Police said Jessica Linscott, 27, of Plaistow, and Roland Dow, 23, assaulted the boy, who was found with burns, bruises, and head injuries. His injuries were so severe that he was transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
Lt. William Baldwin of the Plaistow Police Department told WMUR-TV that Linscott and Dow have been seen in places as far away as Swampscott, Mass.
The pair have been charged with multiple counts of assault and child endangerment.
Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams will deliver a news conference at 12 p.m. Wednesday to provide an update on the case.
