Exeter's Maggie Hassan revs up her campaign for governor.

About 75 supporters rallied behind Exeter's Maggie Hassan tonight as she revved up her campaign for governor.

Hassan – as she did back in October – slammed House Speaker Bill O'Brien for pursuing policies that she said strip Granite Staters of essential services. Earlier today, Hassan for a policy that would allow employers and doctors to refuse to provide birth control to women.

Hassan is up against Barrington's Jackie Cilley in the race for the Democratic nomination. On the GOP side, Ovide Lamontagne and Kevin Smith are running.

Hassan appears to have one of the most organized campaigns. She recently announced committees dedicated to and counties, with dozens of public supporters in each region.

At tonight's rally, there were more former state representatives that current ones. Also in attendance was Jeff Ballard, who's going up against Jeb Bradley for Bradley's state senate seat.
