Democratic Acitivist Joins Hassan Campaign

Exeter's Maggie Hassan is running for governor.

The following is a news release:

Maggie Hassan for Governor today announced longtime Democratic activist Pat Morris as one of the campaign’s Grassroots Co-Chairs. Morris is a veteran of Democratic campaigns and will help the Hassan campaign organize grassroots support in Manchester and Hillsborough County.  Morris joins Chaz Proulx and State Rep. Jennifer Daler (D-Temple) as a co-chair of Hassan’s Grassroots committee.

“I’ve seen a lot of candidates come and go and Maggie Hassan is the real deal,” said Morris.  “She is running the kind of campaign that will appeal to people in Manchester and all across the state.  Maggie is the right candidate to help move New Hampshire forward and I am proud to support her campaign for Governor.”

“It’s great to have Pat on board our campaign,” said Hassan. “Every day we continue to add new support and build the broad organization it will take to defeat Ovide Lamontagne in the fall. I’m looking forward to working with Pat and our other supporters as our campaign moves forward.”

Last week, Hassan was endorsed by EMILY’s List, because she is running a strong, viable campaign.  She has also earned the support of the Women’s Campaign Fund, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Council #35, the Carpenters Local 118, the Iron Workers Local 7, and the United Food and Commercial Workers Locals 1445 and 791.
