National ocean policy should focus more on the Gulf of Maine, a conservation advocate told a federal agency at Exeter High School Monday.
Sean Cosgrove of the Conservation Law Foundation told the National Ocean Council that the gulf is integral to the region. Watch his comments in the video above.
His comments came during a public hearing hosted by the council, which is gathering input to form nine priorities for the nation's oceans, coastlines, and Great Lakes.
Also during the hearing, marine biologist Ellen Goethel, of Hampton, argued fishermen should have more say in ocean policy.
