Republican gubernatorial candidate Ovide Lamontagne announced today that he's raised more than $910,000 through June 14.
His campaign said the funds have been raised from 1,538 unique donors, 88 percent of whom are from New Hampshire.
"We are thrilled at this remarkable show of support for Ovide's campaign, and we continue to build daily on our strong foundation," said Paul Collins, Lamontagne's campaign manager. "Ovide is campaigning town to town, person to person, and his message is clearly resonating with voters hungry for leadership, for a change, in Concord."
University of New Hampshire political science professor Dante Scala pointed out on his Twitter account (@Graniteprof) that Lamontagne has already eclipsed his 2010 fundraising total of $677,000. Lamontagne ran for Senate that year.

@C Barry, I listened to both Smith and Ovide talk about gambling. There is very little difference.

88 percent of the donors are from New Hampshire, but what percentage of the money is from New Hampshire?

Good eye TomRC,
When somebody frames a statement like that they seem like the feel guilty about something. 1 dollar each from 1537 donors, and 900,000 from Master Carl Rove?.......

Meaning that some organizations or people from outside NH are sending money to people in NH that then donate it to Ovide's campaign? What would someone that lives outside of NH gain from Ovide being elected governor? What is the motive?
Do you have any proof that any of the money donated to Ovide from within NH actually came from outside the state?

Good catch Tom...
and yes, outside money buys things like special deals on reducing taxes - like to tobacco companies

@Jan Schmidt
There are four people who have contributed $65 to your campaign to date. Are they from the state of new hampshire, out of state or in a state of delirium?
