New Year's Eve Fireworks

I believe that the Exeter fireworks are at 8:15 pm, not 8:45 pm tonight.

Well here is what happened with the so called new years fireworks! After arriving at 8:35 to view them like what was stated earlier on the patch, we arrived and saw two go off. We waited another twenty minutes, and decided to walk over to ask the fireworks men what was going on??!!!! They were told by the Exeter recreational mananger to light them off at 8:05!!!!! We were upset to see such mis communication within the town..WHAT A HUGE let down.. Happy new year

This was a real disappointment for the whole family. Not to mention a huge waste of money and an embarrassment for the town. The town really needs to work on communication and value the efforts of the residents who attend these events. We have experienced this frustration with the summer concerts as well. It really shouldn't be this hard.

patch said 8:45, EP&R said 8:15. We heard them go off at 8:05, hurried to dress warmly and caught most of it from our backyard. It was a nice show and appreciated, but the timing ought to have been better communicated, especially for people that don't live so near like we do.

yes and we checked the patch right before we left to make double sure of the time! 8:45!!!
