Exeter UFO Festival Returning This Year

The festival was canceled last year because of a fire at Town Hall.

The annual Exeter UFO Festival, which was canceled last year after a fire at Town Hall, will return this year.

Town officials on Monday approved a permit for the festival to be held Sat., Aug. 30 at Town Hall. It will be organized by the Exeter Kiwanis.

Before last year's cancellation, the festival was held for four straight years downtown. It typically draws hundreds of visitors to town. The festival had featured costume contests and talks by UFO experts, among other activities.
