Justin Townes Earle to play Prescott Park Arts Festival
Justin Townes Earle, Matt Andersen and Spirit Family Reunion are now part of the River House Concert Series this summer in Portsmouth.
The Prescott Park Arts Festival has announced three additional performances to its summer concert series in Portsmouth, including singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle, back by popular demand, on July 2.
Spirit Family Reunion and Matt Andersen are also newly added to the River House Restaurant Concert series of award-winning musicians.
Andersen, a powerhouse Canadian blues guitarist and singer-songwriter, will take the Wilcox Mainstage on July 9.
Spirit Family Reunion, a folk and Americana band from Brooklyn, N.Y., is scheduled to perform Aug. 31.
Prescott Park Arts Festival launches the River House Restaurant Concert series with Grammy Award-winner Patty Griffin on Saturday, June 21.
The concerts in the park, along the picturesque Piscataqua River, are free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $8 to $10.
Prescott Park Arts Festival also has theater productions in the park. "Shrek the Musical" opens June 27 and will run all summer Thursday through Sunday.
