A new monument celebrating Great Bay was built at Stewart Park in Exeter.
The Exeter Area General Federation of Women's Club organized the project, which was recently approved by Selectmen. The stone monument has a map of the bay.
Exeter Monument Works will help build the monument.

Stewart Park is located across from Swasey Parkway next to the Phillips Exeter Academy boathouse.
It overlooks the Squamscott River, which is part of the Great Bay estuary.
