Exeter Hospital Partners with Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock

It will bring pediatric gastroenterology and cardiology services to local patients.

The following is a new release:

Core Physicians is pleased to announce a new relationship with Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD), which brings pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric cardiology services to local patients. 

Dr. Anthony Repucci, CHaD pediatric gastroenterologist, is now seeing patients at Exeter Pediatrics of Core Physicians on the first Tuesday of every month. Dr. Thomas Johnson, CHaD pediatric cardiologist, will see both pediatric and adult congenital disease patients one day per month starting in December.

Dr. Repucci provides outpatient gastroenterology consults in Exeter focusing on conditions such as abdominal pain, acid reflux, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, cystic fibrosis, home intravenous nutrition dependence, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and neuromuscular disorders. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal eosinophilic disorders, food allergies, nutritional support for neurologically compromised infants and children, as well as breastfeeding. All surgical procedures will be performed in Manchester.

Dr. Repucci received his medical degree from Charles R. Drew School of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles,CA. He completed his residency in pediatrics, as well as a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital/MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. He is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology.

Dr. Thomas Johnson will provide evaluation of infants and children with suspected heart disease, congenital heart disease in children and adults, and other pediatric heart-related defects. Echocardiograms will be performed onsite in Exeter by CHaD’s echo sonographers.

Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing his combined residency in pediatrics and internal medicine from Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Dr. Johnson went on to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he completed his fellowship in pediatric cardiology. He is board certified in internal Medicine, pediatrics and pediatric cardiology (subspecialty).
