For decades, town officials have tried to encourage the revitalization of blighted sections of Epping Road.

There has been recent progress, as opened up shop and The Meeting Place affordable housing complex was built. The Meeting Place is currently undergoing an expansion.

Town officials are trying to encourage growth in the Epping Road corridor by applying for a state program that would provide businesses with tax credits.
