Extreme Cold to Continue for Exeter

WInd chill values will be below zero degrees this week.

An extreme cold spell in Exeter will continue throughout the weekend. Things won't warm up until Monday.

Below is the daily forecast by the National Weather Service:

  • Friday: High of 19; wind chill values as low as -19 during the snow; chance of snow after midnight
  • Saturday: High of 22; slight chance of snow
  • Sunday: Sunny, high of 21
  • Monday: Sunny, high of 32

The arctic weather has completely frozen the Squamscott River in downtown Exeter (pictured).
