Sect. Sebelius Admits Health Care Premiums will Likely Increase in 2015

Despite the Promises, Health Care Costs Likely to Increase Next Year

Yesterday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated that premiums are, "likely to go up in 2015." This admission is in stark contrast to the talking points the American people heard in the run up to the passage of Obamacare when it was claimed that premiums would decrease by an average of $2500 after passage.

This admission comes nearly a year and a half after Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter admitted in 2012 that, "Everyone knows costs will go up. For him to say health care costs should drop when nothing else ever drops, it’s just not accurate." http://nhjournal.com/2012/09/18/shea-porter-admits-obamacare-she-voted-for-increases-costs/

In response, Frank Guinta, Candidate for Congress, released the following statement:

"Obamacare continues to plague patients, who encounter fewer choices and inadequate care, and taxpayers who are hurt by out-of-control spending. Recently, even President Obama's administration admitted that costs will continue to go up for middle-class families in need of more affordable health insurance. It's clear to me that Obamacare is a train wreck that continues to make matters worse, but Congresswoman Shea-Porter refuses to come clean with Granite Staters and admit that her vote to pass this bill was a mistake. At what point will Congresswoman Shea-Porter admit that her blind support for Washington Democrats caused this problem?"
