Main Street Art Announces Artists’ Reception for Journey To Tanzania, A collaborative exhibit blending photography with philanthropy to connect communities across the globe, on Friday, March7th

Newfields, N.H. - Main Street Art invites the public to attend an opening reception on Friday, March 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the art center in Newfields to introduce its exhibition of a special photographic endeavor. Please join the MSA board in welcoming three gifted photographers whose work connects communities from different parts of the world. Journey To Tanzania is a photo exhibition of stunning images from their trip to that African nation while traveling and working with The Giving Lens. The Journey To Tanzania Initiative provides an opportunity for people in this country to get involved with helping raise awareness of and meet the needs of students in Tanzania. Join us and view the complimentary artwork on this project by local MSA art students.  Refreshments will be served. Parking is plentiful at the Newfields Town Hall.

This exhibit seeks to inspire action and so doubly serves as a School Supply Drive for the communities on display. We encourage Reception Attendees to bring small school supplies to donate (particularly pencils and notepads) for the children of Tanzania. 

Gallery hours are Monday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and whenever the OPEN flag is out.
