Green Alliance partners with Film Unbound for 'Green Shorts' Film Festival

PORTSMOUTH — The Green Alliance and Film Unbound will be hosting “Green Shorts,” a one-night micro-festival of short films dedicated to the world, the environment, and you!  It will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (with doors opening at 7 p.m.) on Oct. 24 at the Green Alliance headquarters, 75 Congress St., Suite 304, Portsmouth, N.H.

The event will showcase local films that explore environmental themes in hopes of bringing out the environmentalist in you. Film Unbound undoubtedly has a good eye for inspirational films, and has selected a diverse collection of short films, most of which are produced by local artists. Come enjoy the natural world as it becomes unveiled to you in this film series, alongside sustainable eats and locally brewed beers. After each video, a Q & A opportunity will follow, allowing you to meet and ask questions to the real filmmaker. As an audience member you also are able to help select the “Viewer’s Choice Environmental Hero” based on the best film!

Its efforts are targeted at creating, and enhancing the growth of the green economy. Film Unbound is a media production company dedicated to supporting independent cinema, and aimed at creating both fictional and documentary films for distribution and for its clients.
