Calling Hours Wednesday for State Rep Amy Perkins

The Winnacunnet High grad worked for nearly 10 years at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Amy Stasia Perkins, 43, of Seabrook, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with brain cancer (GBM).

She was born in Bennington, VT, November 15, 1970 and the family moved to the seacoast in 1978. Amy attended local schools and graduated from Winnacunnet High School with the Class of 1988.

Amy was employed as a polysomnographer for Portsmouth Regional Hospital for nearly ten years and prior to this worked for Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass. in the cardiology department.

She was a member of the Rand Memorial Church serving as a Sunday school teacher, the Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post 70 Women’s Auxiliary, was a self-taught pianist, and was presently serving her third term as a representative to District 20 of the State of NH General Court.

Family members include her husband, Lawrence B. “KoKo” Perkins, her son, Daumanic Fucile, her daughter, Katelyn Perkins, her father, Dennis C. Keegan all of Seabrook, her mother, Maureen J. (McGrath) Schneider and her husband Edwin of Hampton, her sister, Alyce P. Morris and husband Christopher of Portsmouth, two brothers, Dennis C. Keegan, Jr. of Cambridge, NY, John W. Keegan of Whitingham, VT, and her stepmother, Wilda Sheffer of Hoosick Falls, NY.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Rand Memorial Church, Seabrook. Burial will follow in the Wildwood Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rand Memorial Church, 134 South Main Street, Seabrook, NH 03874.
