Nicholas Nadeau, 23, Mourned After Fatal Crash

Nicholas Tustin Nadeau died after sustaining serious injuries in a crash Friday.

Nicholas Tustin Nadeau, 23, of Kingston died Friday, November 8, 2013 from injuries sustained from a tragic accident in Haverhill, Mass.

He was born December 8, 1989 in Boston, Mass. the son of Paul E. and Kristine E. (Westerhoff) Nadeau of Kingston.

Nick was raised in Beverly, Mass. and Kingston, moving there with his family in 1998. He first attended high school at St. John’s Prep in Danvers, Mass. where he played for the football team before attending Sanborn Regional High School in Kingston where he graduated with the Class of 2008.

Nick was a life-long scout and a member of Troop 337 in Exeter. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in 2008, which included the renovation of the Exeter Ward Volleyball court at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Nick especially enjoyed his numerous camping experiences during his years as a scout.

He spent his carefree summers working at the Taco Hut in Hampton Beach and Campers Inn in Kingston.

 Following high school graduation he attended Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, VA, where he played defensive lineman for the SVU Knights football team. He was a member of the Exeter Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served his two year mission in Nevada following his first year of college. After returning home from his mission he attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he thoroughly enjoyed his friends, the great outdoors, skiing, hiking, and snowmobiling.

Nick was a big hearted young man whose exceptional warmth, humor, and kindness touched, guided and inspired many lives.

In addition to his parents, he leaves two brothers, Daniel and Thomas Nadeau both of Kingston, his maternal grandmother, Loretta Westerhoff of Andover, Mass., his paternal grandmother, Patricia Nadeau of The Villages, Fla., numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who all loved him and will miss him.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 10 A.M., Friday November 15, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 55 Hampton Falls Road, Exeter, with a reception following at the church.

Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. Friday at Brooks Memorial Park Cemetery, Eliot, Maine.
