Dick Brewster, Normandy Invasion Veteran, Dies at 90

He was a lifelong Exeter resident.

Dick Brewster, a lifelong Exeter resident who served in the U.S. Army during the Normandy invasion in World War II, died Dec. 6. He was 90.

He was a member of the Exeter Congregational Church and Exeter Rotary Club, according to his obituary.

His wife of 65 years was Marilyn (Maher) Brewster.

"He will be remembered for his contagious smile and laugh," his obituary reads.
