Exeter Police Charge Man with Drug, Driving Offenses

Police said the charges were filed after an officer pulled the driver over July 1.

Exeter Police have arrested a local man on charges of possession of controlled drugs and operating with a suspended license and suspended registrations. 

Police said Justin R. Scamman, 29, of Exeter, was arrested July 1 after an officer observed him driving with suspended registrations and license privileges.

Officers located marijuana, Suboxone, several hypodermic needles, a dirty spoon and several glass pipes, according to Exeter Police. He was also charged with possession of controlled drugs in a motor vehicle.

Scamman was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and he is scheduled to appear for an arraignment at the Exeter District Court on Aug. 12.
