Swimmers at Wallis Sands Beach in Rye rushed out of the water today after a possible shark sighting, WMUR-TV reported.
Town officials said they couldn't confirm the sighting.
Rye Police Chief Kevin Walsh said based on a description, it may have been a sand shark, which rarely bother humans.
