Exeter Selectman to Hold Open Forum

Frank Ferraro wants to hear from residents.

The following is a news release from Exeter Selectman Frank Ferraro:

Exeter Selectman Frank Ferraro will hold an open forum at on Sat. March 3 from 8-10 a.m.

"As I approach my first anniversary as your Selectman, I would like to take this opportunity to hear directly from Exeter residents about their thoughts and concerns about how I'm doing, what you like and what you don't like about how I have performed this past year," Ferraro said. "I’d also like to hear any thoughts or concerns about the Town in general."

"This past year has been a challenging one, with the restrictions on , controlling spending in a tough economy, where past taxes had gone unpaid, etc.," Ferraro said. "With many of our friends and neighbors continuing to struggle because of the bad economy, we need to be even more imaginative and creative in finding ways to control
municipal expenditures.

“Even if you don't have anything in particular to say, please stop by for a cup of coffee and just to chat.”

About Frank

Frank Ferraro has been a resident of Exeter for more than 23 years. He and his wife raised their two children in Exeter where they attended Exeter public schools.

Prior to his retirement in 2010, Frank worked for Wheelabrator Technologies for 21 years. As the Vice President of Public Policy at Wheelabrator, he was responsible for managing government and public affairs.

In March 2011, Frank was elected to a three-year term as Selectman in the Town of Exeter. He has spent the past year fighting for fiscal restraint and lower taxes. He also has been working to increase transparency and openness in government.
