Jon Huntsman to Attend Fundraiser in Stratham

The possible 2016 presidential contender will help raise money for State Sen. Nancy Stiles of Hampton.

Former GOP presidential candidate Jon Huntsman will be in New Hampshire next week to attend a fundraiser for State Sen. Nancy Stiles (R-Hampton), a longtime supporter.

The fundraiser is being held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at 2 Marin Way in Stratham. The suggested donation is $100 per person.

Huntsman, who finished third in the 2012 New Hampshire Primary, is considered a potential Republican presidential contender in 2016 as well.

He is scheduled to speak at Saint Anselm College on Monday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. He will present a talk entitled "U.S. and Asia: Current Political Trends and Opportunities" as part of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics' Speaker Series. The event is free and open to the public.

Huntsman was last in New Hampshire in February, when he stopped by a supporter's home in Portsmouth for a visit.
