Woof! Local Pet Adoption Campaign Underway
Love Is... Adoption Campaign and finding more homes for amazing cats and dogs. Read how you can help the New Hampshire SPCA win a $100,000 grant from the ASPCA!
The New Hampshire SPCA is working hard to save more animals lives. We are the only NH shelter participating in the ASPCA's $100K Challenge to Save More Lives and they don't call it a challenge for nothing! Our goal is to increase adoptions of cats, dogs, kittens and puppies by 1,000 in just three months, August, September and October. Last year in those three months, we placed 584 of the aforementioned lovables, so really we are aiming to almost triple our adoptions in just 91 days!
How can we do that you might ask? The most important aspect of 'The Challenge' is saving animals and that is what we are focusing on. We are spreading the Adoption First message and are challenging ourselves to improve. We will be in places that you've never seen us before, like the Fox Run Mall and Boston-Portsmouth Air Show. We've been at Kingston Days, and Portsmouth Farmers Market and will be at the Exeter Fall Festival. All with the same message, Help the New Hampshire SPCA save 1000 more animals, and hopefully a transformational grant from the ASPCA!
