Exeter Football Star Shines in Bowl Game

A local football player did his part Saturday to help lead an all-New Hampshire team to a 43-0 win over Vermont in the 60th Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl.

Exeter High's Tyler Grant ran for a touchdown in the annual matchup, according to ESPN.

New Hampshire defeated Vermont for the 13th year in a row after a dominating offensive performance that saw New Hampshire gain roughly 300 more total yards, according to ESPN.

Tyler helped Exeter High win its second straight Division 1 state title last year.
