Tara Whitney, owner and founder of the studio, is hoping to donate $450 to (H)EAT.

"There are families on the Seacoast that live month to month and a large fuel bill can make a big difference to them financially," Whitney said. "I know that the Seacoast Power Yoga community appreciates the warm yoga room when it’s frigid outside.

"In February, my hope is that the community can spread the warmth outside the studio."

David Boynton, executive director of Seacoast Local says: "Locally owned, independent businesses donate much more to local charities, as a percentage of their revenue, than national and big box businesses do.

"We are pleased to be supported by Seacoast Power Yoga. I’m confident that we can meet our goal of providing ten thousand meals and ten thousand gallons of fuel to the Seacoast community."

"Seacoast Supports" is a program designed to contribute financial support to non-profit organizations in the Seacoast community by donating $1 for every person that takes a yoga class during a designated month. "Seacoast Supports" will work with at least four different non-profits a year.
