New Habitat ReStore Opens Saturday

An Exeter man heads the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.

A grand opening for Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity’s new ReStore will be held tomorrow.

The new ReStore, which sells donated home furnishings, is located at 29 Fox Run Rd. in Newington – the former site of Roller Skate Newington. The executive director of the local Habitat group is , of Exeter.

There will be an all-day celebration that includes food grilled by Texas Roadhouse at 11 a.m. and a live broadcast by 98.7 The Bay.

The new ReStore is double the size of the former one in Dover. The new space is double the size of the old one and will include a new donation center that allows customers to easily drive up to the store, where staff and volunteers will unload the donations and provide a donor receipt.

The store will be open Tue.-Sat. from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
