'Christmas Story' Continues at The Rep

Dover's annual Holiday Parade this Sunday; Retailers ready to offer great deals on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.

Looking for something fun to do on the Seacoast this weekend? Here are some ideas:

1. "Christmas Wish" parade Sunday: The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce's annual Holiday parade will step off on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. This year's theme is a "Christmas Wish."

2. "A Christmas Story" at the Rep:
The Seacoast Repertory Theatre's production of "A Christmas Story" continues its holiday run this weekend with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
 

3. Ready, set, shop: Black Friday and Small Business Saturday are happening this Friday and Saturday. First, many of the Seacoast region's largest Big Box retailers are promising great deals to kick off the holiday shopping season right after Thanksgiving followed by small locally owned businesses in downtown Portsmouth, Exeter and Hampton on Saturday. Patch and American Express are teaming up to offer free downtown parking in Portsmouth for Small Business Saturday

4. Santa Claus is back: Santa will continue to be at the Fox Run Mall to hear everyone's Christmas wish lists and take photos until Dec. 24.

5. Truffle Thanksgiving: Truffle will perform a Thanksgiving concert at The Press Room on Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 and doors open at 8 p.m.
