'Nutcracker' Returns to Music Hall This Weekend

A candlelight stroll, music and breakfast with Santa offer great family fun this weekend.

The holiday season is well underway here on the Seacoast and there are several holiday parades taking place for those who want to get into the spirit.

1. See The Nutcracker: "An 1836 Portsmouth Nutcracker" will be performed at the Music Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by the Great Bay Academy of Dance.

2. Breakfast with Santa:
The North Hampton Recreation Department will hold its annual Breakfast with Santa this Saturday at the North Hampton School.

3. Enjoy holiday music: The Sounds Holiday Joy concert will be performed by the Seacoast Wind Ensemble at the Exeter Baptist Church on Saturday at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

4. Candlelight Stroll: Strawbery Banke Museum continues to hold its annual Candlelight Stroll each weekend through the holiday season where visitors can see how Christmas was celebrated during the different time periods in the museum's various houses.

5. "A Christmas Story" at the Rep: The Seacoast Repertory Theatre's production of "A Christmas Story" continues its holiday run this weekend with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
