Mediocre sandwiches especially compared to the other excellent alternatives in town. Wait staff could use some hygiene improvements.

One of my favorite places to take visitors. The food is always fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is everything about Exeter I love to share.

The Loaf and Ladle offers good sandwiches and good soup in a very scenic setting, especially during those times of year when you can sit out on the deck and watch the Squamscott River arise from the Exeter River.
The servers are always pleasant, attentive, and fast.
And the Exeter Public Library makes a nice stop after you've eaten!
