It's sad that this is happening all over the state. Why would we think Exeter is different? As farRead More as the off comments about the police dept...are you allowed breaks at your job and do you sometimes chat with your fellow co-workers while on the clock? I come from a family of police officers and public servants and I appreciate all of the sacrifices they have made over the years working on holidays and missing important things with their family so people can be safe. We need to support our public servants as well as our military and thank them every day for our freedoms. THANK YOU to everyone who is putting their life on the line for me and my family every day. God Bless

suebaz, look up "Hallie Bibeau ducks" and "Eric Garner Staten Island" to see howRead More much we should thank police.
Rheta July 22, 2014 at 05:07 pm
Agree with Suebaz, we need to support our police/public servants and military. If we could predictRead More where crime was going to happen, there would be no crime. The article speaks more to the violence that is happening all over the State. I grew up in Exeter and stuff like this was what happened in other places, not here.

Shelves are going empty at most stores. Temporary replacement drivers are moving a limited numberRead More of trucks, but that's about it.

now they are putting there lic in cities in towns in jeopardy public health and safty goes to showRead More how uneducated most workers are and there putting there bills and familes and morgatges on the line. a huge private equity firm will buy them out plus all the suppliers will sue them and care if there employees showed up I guarantee market basket could can everyone and have all new hires in a week so many temp firms have people that can fill those needs. its a bad move for the employees and as a fam run firm there too big for local voice.

Donna Dion July 22, 2104 I am really upset that this has come to this. Market Basket is the onlyRead More store I shop at. BRING ARTIE T BACK. He knows what to do and has been a big help to the employees and the customers. No Artie T and I will have to stop shopping there and I don't want to because I love all the employees who work for Market Basket.

Mazzaglia is a person. You might hate him, but it doesn't change that fact. You'd kill someone toRead More save a nickel because you judge him bad.

My stance is that life in prison with no possibility of parole or early release is a much greaterRead More punishment than just executing him. All moral arguments on the death penalty aside, the death penalty is the easy way out for him. Life in prison means his life is, for all purposes, over, and I would rather he suffer the rest of his non-existent, miserable life in a cage than give him a painless, quick way out by executing him.

Kat McDonough should have gotten Life Without the possibility of parole...also!!!!
Old Pizza July 6, 2014 at 11:46 am
Without the plea deal, the state would not have had her testimony. And without her testimonyRead More Mazzaglia would not have been convicted. Sure, she deserves more. But one of them behind bars is better than none. And the worst one is off the streets for good.
