Exeter High To Celebrate NH Food Day
The school invites families to learn about local food.
Exeter High School will celebrate "Food Day in New Hampshire" next week with a bunch of events focused on promoting local food. The school recently established a community garden and has been using local food from farms like Apple Annie, Brookford Farm and White Birch Farm for its lunch menu. On Fri., Oct. 28, families are invited to learn how to make a harvest dinner featuring local chefs who will help families prepare a butternut apple soup, shepherd’s pie, and an apple dessert. The dinner is at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
