IAN's Grill is one of my favorites, but also love The Green Bean and Blue Moon too (too many choices - HA) - love chatting with all the locals that drop by that often times may include one of our selectmen while enjoying a great grilled sausage, cold Squamscott soda and a Memories ice cream!   more ›

Burnt Bread Blamed for Blaze at Loaf and Ladle [VIDEO]

Workers successfully doused the fire.

Burnt bread was blamed for recently sparking a small fire at the Loaf and Ladle restaurant. No one was injured the in the blaze, which caused minor damage May 23. A portion of the outdoor deck was singed by flames. Workers were able to douse the fire with water, according to Assistant Fire Chief Ken Berkenbush of the Exeter Fire Department. The restaurant was closed for a few hours while crews cleaned up.
