Beach Plum Building New Restaurant Nearby

The popular local ice cream stand and seafood restaurant already has locations in North Hampton and Portsmouth.

The Beach Plum has reportedly received the green light to build a new restaurant in Epping's Brickyard Square.

The Union Leader reported that the Epping Planning Board approved the Beach Plum's plans last week for the business' third location, which will open in April or May 2014.

Nancy Lee, who owns the Beach Plum with her husband Robert, confirmed the news in an e-mail to Patch on Monday.

The Beach Plum also has locations in North Hampton—its original restaurant and ice cream stand—and on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth.

Brickyard Square is a huge new commercial block that includes O'neil Cinemas, Market Basket, and a Popovers cafe. 900 Degrees, a Manchester-based pizzeria, is also opening a location there in the next few days.
