Exeter Green Bean Plans Expansion
A new kitchen and additional seating are in the works.
The Green Bean restaurant in downtown Exeter is planning an expansion.
Owner Jeff Turner said he plans to build a new kitchen in an adjacent space where Trends Gift Gallery is currently located. Trends is moving to a new space by the bandstand.
Turner said he plans to add about 30 seats where the current kitchen is located. Those seats would have views of the Squamscott River.
Turner said he plans to work with town officials to get approval for the changes.
His restaurant, which opened in 1997, recently began offering beer and wine.
The Green Bean also has locations in Portsmouth and New Castle.
