Exeter Store to Close After Three Decades in Business

Party People on Lincoln Street is set to close next month unless a buyer is found at the last minute.

A "Store Closing Sale" sign went up Friday in front of the party supply shop at 78 Lincoln St. All items in the store are 25 percent off.

Lisa Brown, who has owned Party People for 5-1/2 years, said she decided to close the store because business has been slow. She still hopes to find a buyer who will continue running the store, which has been in Exeter since 1982. If not, she said she plans to close the store for good in about a month.
