Local Man Killed in Crash

Nicholas Nadeau, 24, of Kingston was hit by a car on Route 495 in Haverhill, MA early Friday morning.

A Kingston, NH man was killed Friday after he was struck by a car on Route 495 in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a motor vehicle around 1:25 a.m. on Route 495 northbound in the area of exit 51 in Haverhill, MA.

A paramedic from the Haverhill Fire Department/EMS determined the victim to be deceased at the scene. The victim was later identified as Nicholas Nadeau, 24, of Kingston.

Route 495 northbound was shut down in the area of exit 51. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation responded to the scene with arrow boards to assist in redirecting traffic around the scene during the investigation. Troopers from the Massachusetts Crime Scene Service Section also responded to assist with the investigation.
