Dear Sanborn Community,

At approximately 12:15 PM on Monday, 30 September, school administrators were notified of a potential security issue involving a weapon outside of the school building. The school took immediate action by notifying the Kingston Police Department, and placed the school into a lock down. The Kingston Police Department, in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies responded, deemed the school to be safe, and determined that no weapon had entered the building. We take the safety of our students very seriously and we will continue to work with our local authorities to ensure that our campus is a safe place for all.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Dr. Brian Blake
Superintendent of Schools
Sanborn Regional School District
