Amber Alert Suspect Reportedly Seen on Seacoast Caught

Leeanna Wilson was accused of kidnapping 6-year-old Alize Whipple.

Massachusetts police just said Alize Whipple has been found safe and Leeanna Wilson is in custody.

Police in Kittery, Maine said a woman accused of kidnapping a 6-year-old girl may have been spotted there in recent days.

Leeanna Wilson, 50, kidnapped 6-year-old Alize Whipple from her home in Fitchburg, Mass., police said.

Whipple is black, stands about 3 feet, 9 inches, and weighs about 45 pounds, police said. She was dark hair. She was last seen on Normandy Street in Fitchburg wearing a pink top, pink petite pants and pink sparkly shoes.

"There is reason to believe Leeanna may cause harm to the child," authorities said in a statement.

Kittery police said Wilson was reported to have been seen on Thursday and Friday at retail establishments.

Anyone with information on the pair's whereabouts is asked to call Kittery police at 207-439-1638 or Fitchburg police at 978-345-9648.
