The GOAL is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Rockingham County by providing justice professionally, effectively and efficiently. TO achieve the goal requires the demonstrated leadership skills to:

create a team that can carry out the mandates of the office train the team to be able to prevail at trial in any given case administer justice in the County in a fair manner oversee police departments in an effective manner utilize alternative sentencing in appropriate cases without sacrificing public safety advocate for law enforcement in public forums and the legislature create partnership with other agencies and groups incorporate changes in the law into law enforcement agencies prepare the office for the future.
