New Hampshire Film Festival This Weekend

Take the kids to "Touch-a-Truck" at Pease or journey to York, Maine for "Ghosts of Smuttynose" for a haunting good time on Friday evening.

Looking for something fun to do on the Seacoast this weekend? Here are some ideas:

1. Don't miss NH Film Festival: Beginning on Thursday, nearly 100 films produced by filmmakers from New Hampshire, the U.S. and around the world will be screened during the 13th annual New Hampshire Film Festival.

2. "Touch-a-Truck" at Pease: The Richie McFarland Children's Center will host its annual "Touch-a-Truck" fundraiser at Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3. "The Odd Couple" at The Rep: Neil Simon's comedy, "The Odd Couple," continues its run at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre.

4. Visit Applecrest Farm Orchards: There are still plenty of pumpkins, apples, great music, cider and loads of New England fall activities at Applecrest Farm Orchards in Hampton Falls all weekend long.

5. "Ghosts of Smuttynose" returns: If you are anxious for Halloween, take a short drive to York, Maine this Friday and see the "Ghosts of Smuttynose" performed at Jeffords Tavern from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
